Sewing Classes
Flying Pig Create Studio aims to inspire young and young at heart individuals to be creative and instill a life time love of sewing and crafting. Flying Pig Create Studio goal is to ignite one's creativity and imagination by offering a multitude of exciting sewing and crafting projects that will surprise and delight.
The studio is located in a safe residential area in San Diego, off the 56th highway and Camino Del Sur Exit. While this is on a private property, the studio is detached from the main house and accessible by its own entrance.
When you sign up your child (or yourself) for sewing classes, you can expect that you or your child will have an enjoyable experience as we have reliable sewing machines (complete with speed control), high quality materials and supplies. Sewing instructions, materials and sewing machine rental are all inclusive (except for the Adults and Create Your Own Projects classes).
We follow the Poway Unified School District calendar. Classes are offered in the Fall/Winter and Winter/Spring of each year.
We are very excited to be offering weekly group lessons for both adults and children for the upcomming
Fall/Winter 2025 session, Lessons will commence the week of September 8th, 2025 and conclude the week of December 19th, 2025. The following classes are being offered for the Fall/Winter 2025 session:
Weekly sewing classes (maximum of 5 students per class)
Tuesdays, 9:30 am to 11:00 am (Adults only*, all levels): 13 lessons, $455
Tuesdays, 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm (Create-Your-Own Project Class*,2+yrs exp. required): 13 lessons, $455 Wednesdays, 4:30 pm to 5:45 pm (3rd graders and up and all levels):14 lessons, $490
Thursdays, 4:30 pm to 5:45 pm (3rd graders and up and of all levels): 14 lessons, $490
Classes are subjected to cancellation (full refund will be given) if less than 3 participants are enrolled per class.
*For Adults and Create-Your-Own-Project classes: Participants will supply their own materials.
Please note:
No Classes on Veterans Day, November 11th
No Classes during Thanksgiving Break (November 24th-28th)

Private Lessons:
Party of 1: $67/hour or a set of 3 for $191
Party of 2: $120 for one hour and 15 minutes or a set of 3 for $345
